Hoppix ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

Hoppix is designed to be a fun experience for everyone, including children. We collect minimal data:

Game progress & preferences – stored locally on your device only (e.g., selected character, mute setting).
Analytics – we use PostHog to collect anonymised, aggregated data about how the app is used (e.g., screens visited, features tapped). No personally identifiable information is collected.
Crash reports – we use Bugsnag to receive anonymous error reports so we can fix bugs quickly.
Advertising – we use Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier (IDFA) with your permission. You will be asked before any identifier is used.
Purchases – in-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We do not store any payment information.

How We Use Information

To improve gameplay and fix bugs.
To serve relevant ads and support the free version of the app.
To understand which features players enjoy most.

Children's Privacy

Hoppix is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Analytics data is anonymised and never tied to an individual. Advertising shown to younger audiences follows Apple's and Google's child-directed policies.

Data Retention

Anonymised analytics and crash data are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Local game data lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Your Rights

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone or iPad. You may also request deletion of any data associated with your device by contacting us.
